ShowBmp is a universal winhelp tool for enhancement of winhelp functionality. ShowBmp is a dynamic link library (DLL) which is invoked by the winhelp embedded window command. This program has the following unique features:

Display of all supported bitmap formats (see above) as miniatures which "expand" when being "clicked" Ideal for big bitmaps Reduces space requirements on winhelp topic Better user orientation ICON bitmaps are restored in a separate overlapping window This window automatically closes if winhelp topic closes This window will automatically close if winhelp is minimized The position and size of this window can be defined by the help author If the original size of the bitmap is bigger than preselected size, scrollbars are present ZOOM function allows to study bitmap details Print option allows separate printing of the bitmap "crosshair" allows for individual demonstration of bitmap details Bitmap management Imagebuffer stores dynamically the bitmaps for later redisplay Printing of bitmaps fully supported Multiple images (16) on one help topic Bitmaps can be stored via BAGGAGE and are, thus, not directly accessible by winhelp user Hotspots on high resolution bitmaps for display / action:
