Elizabeth Daigle Walling, 76, died Sunday; at home, surrounded by her loving husband, Joe, children, grandchildren and friends after a long bout with brain cancer. More details and a pictorial retrospective of her life may be viewed on the Internet at http://www.hypertexas.com/Elizabeth.htm.

During 28 years with Arthur Andersen & Co., Elizabeth's smiling face, greeted thousands of clients, staff and partners-to-be with her famous bowl of candy.

Jamie Kinsman and Brother Gerald Canon of the Almeda Baptist Church, the staff at M. D. Anderson and Hospice at Texas Medical Center for their love and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to M. D. Anderson Cancer Treatment Center.

Born in Waveland, Indiana, Elizabeth Walling moved to Houston in 1938 with her mother, Esther Ghormley, brother, Bud and sister, Elaine. In 1941, she married Sterling Daigle who preceeded her in death after 40 years of marriage.
