Select from different versions of Video Clips
depending on the speed of your Internet connection. You may also need to
download (Free) the RealPlayer Version 8 to view these samples. Try it
first, you may already have it on your computer and don't know it.
To download RealPlayer, see
directions below:
High
Speed Internet Connection (256 K or higher) - Best Quality
Regular
Home Phone Modem connection (56 K) - OK Quality
Installing RealPlayer
Many Internet Explorer and
Netscape web browsers come with RealPlayer already installed. In the event
you don't have the latest and greatest, click on this
button to start the downloading process. It's more hassle than it needs to
be but it's worth it. The biggest problem is trying to avoid the
"hype" of them trying to sell you something when all you want is
the freebie player. Follow these directions, and it should work just fine.
-
Be sure not to be
fooled into "buying" the RealPlayer Plus. All you
need is the RealPlayer Basic. It's sort of hidden, but look for
a link in the middle of the page that says RealPlayer Basic is our
free player.
-
On the next page fill in
your email, etc. (Uncheck "Notify me" so you
won't get junk mail) and click the Download button.
-
Next, you see there are
three choices. Pick the third column: RealPlayer 8 Basic Minimum. Then
click Download button.
-
Choose Seattle, WA as a
site for downloading.
-
Then an
"installer" program will start. When a security warning comes
up, just click Yes.
-
At this point a small
rectangular window will open in the top right of your screen. It will
show you the progress of downloading about a 5 megabyte file. It'll
take about 15 minutes for it to finish on a slowpoke "phone
modem".
-
Finally, just follow the
online directions from there. You may be asked to reboot your
computer.
Then go back to the webpage
and enjoy.
